A toddler's day

Toddlers thrive on rhythm. The day moves through arrival and breakfast, active morning play indoors and out, meals and snacks cooked on site, rest time, and a full afternoon of exploration. Plenty of movement, plenty of choice, and routines they can start to predict and own.

Meet the Room

2 year old daycare Madeley

Our toddler room gives them space to move, explore and test their growing independence, with natural outdoor play close by.
What to pack: spare underwear and extra changes of clothes (especially if toilet training), a water bottle, and a wide-brimmed hat. Please label everything.

What your toddler experiences

Independence.

We encourage toddlers to do things for themselves — serving their own meals, making their beds at rest time, and putting belongings away. Small wins that build real confidence.

Language explosion.

This is when words pour out. We name, narrate, read and sing all day to feed it.

Learning through play.

Hands-on and child-led, with support as they meet the emotional and physical challenges of being two.

Big feelings, supported.

Two-year-olds feel everything intensely. We help them name and manage feelings, not just manage behaviour.

Care and Communication

Toilet training, together.

We follow your lead and your timing, keep it consistent between home and here, and never rush a child who isn't ready.

When things get bumpy.

Toddlers push, grab and test limits — it's how they learn. When conflict happens, our educators step in calmly, keep everyone safe, and teach through the moment. Anything significant, we tell you the same day through OWNA.

Daily updates and gentle settling.

Meals, sleep, photos and the day's events through OWNA. Two free three-hour trial sessions, orientation visits, no joining fee, no bond.
